Mick West

Mick West is regarded as one of Scotland's finest interpreters of traditional song. Together with his band, they have been described as a must for any fan of Scottish song. The current line up of the band are Fraser Fifield (sax, whistles and percussion), Stevie Lawrence (Bouzouki) Frank McLaughlin (Guitar) and new addition to the band Ali Hutton (Pipes, whistles, bodhran, guitar). On hearing the album "A poor man's labour", the U.S. folk magazine Dirty linen stated "Why is this man not a household name?"
Mick and the band recently performed live at the BBC in Glasgow.
